This hummingbird linocut art illustration is part of an ongoing series depicting local Southern Californian birds, native and non-native.
It is created with multiple hand-carved linoleum mounted wood blocks, one for each color with as many as six. The colors are mixed and rolled out and printed by hand via careful burnishing.
This is a signed digital archival Epson print on heavyweight BFK Rives paper of an original scanned linocut hand-pulled print.
5" x 7" with ~ 1/8" deckle edge
Fits any standard 5" x 7" frame and looks especially nice in a larger float frame.
