Seascape B1 by Helena M. Langley, on Joseph’s ReBoards
I’m great at producing ‘stuff’ – items with art potential. The problem comes in using them all. As my storage space grew scarce, Helena asked if I had plans for all of them – of course not. I’m a faster collector than producer. Now I’m not sure if I have too many of Joseph’s ReBoards(tm), or not enough.
I produce the surface, Helena provides “a little piece of happy” and you reap the rewards. By the way, that’s a quote from a satisfied Seascape customer.
These aren’t toys and aren’t for children. Reasonable effort has been taken to remove sharp and pointy parts, but I can’t guarantee they’re all gone. Please handle, and treat, these with reasonable care.
Some of the old bricks in my (Joseph’s) gallery walls have been damaged in decades past. This is a little piece of one of them – in this case about 1 7/8 inches tall and 1 3/4 inches wide. By the way, I only collect pieces; I never break up any usable bricks. No prints can ever be made, so there will never be any reproductions of this one-of-a-kind painting. The closest I can come is to photograph it. The ocean meets the shoreline in this serene little portrait of the sea. Rain may come, but we’ll worry about that when it gets here. This Seascape is rest and serenity in painted form. You can have this little piece of the shore, sea, and skies all to yourself.
