Stoneware Salt Fired Ginger Jar

Decorative Stoneware Ginger Jar- A beautiful stoneware Ginger Jar would be an great addition to any room in your home.

All of my creation are unique and one of a kind. I don't mass produce the same item over and over. If you have a Bridgette's Elegant Earth creation it is 100% original...and you own the only one in existence.

In creating the Jar, I used the wheel technique, for the glaze I used Rutile Green on the inside, and poured lightly on the outside. The shape is round, and the planter is 14" 1/2 tall.

The Ginger Jar went through a specialize kiln firing, called "Salt Fire". The creation is one of a kind.

The clay I used is Black Mountain& Red Navaho clay, and I use lead-free, mid-range glazes on all of my pieces. The specialized firing creates it's own glaze as well, called "Salt glaze", so not only did I use Rutile Green on the inside of this Ginger Jar, the exterior has salt glaze.

Gathering in any room, adorned with handmade ceramic pieces, and you can't help but smile! Enjoy!
