In this package yo will find 5 simple harmonica arrangements
for the small church young people's group.
Instead of elaborate accompaniments, you will find the numbered harmonica notes along with chord notations for the pianist.
As with the melody bells, all notes are quarter notes.
With beginning harmonica players, it takes much effort to get the right number
and remember to "blow" or "draw". They do not need the added distraction of beating time.
You can use inexpensive harmonicas such as those found in Cracker Barrel gift shops and quickly put together a proud little group. This works especially nice for trying to build boy musicians.
As with the bell group, it works best to enlarge the music and put it on a poster board.
Have a director point to the numbers, softly calling them out as the "harmonica players" play.
We sell this as a loose leaf volume at a set price so that the teacher/leader can make as many copies as needed for class/choir note books.
