Poor Little Black Sheep, Baa, Baa, Baa
by Cox Sisters
This is a versatile children's Christmas Program, that will give you an easy template for small church resources. Even if you only have a handful of children and one or two talented teenagers and adults, you can make this work for you.
The script is an sweet juvenile poem around a black lamb who saw the nativity with his shepherd. The poem is in rhythmic chorale reading style, so that you can involve more than one reader if you wish.
There are three classic Christmas hymn arrangements, plus one original composition by my sister, Charity Cox: Noel; How Far Is It To Bethlehem; Angels We Have Heard On High; and Scalular Lullaby. They are arranged for bell choir, ladies, and small instrumental ensemble--piano with a C instrument. If you need a piece transcribed to B flat or another concert key, Mrs. Cox would be glad to arrange one for anyone who asks.
