Blue butterfly on a mum wooden plaque, sign

An amazing hand painted wooden plaque or sign! This round sign is a beautiful blue butterfly called a Red Spotted Purple (family Nymphalidae), on a lucious huge mum of deep red, scarlet, and coral.

Look closely at the amazing details on both the butterfly and the flower- screen printing can NEVER do this! With 30 years of experiance painting you only get the BEST quality from me.
The routed edges have been marbled in a series of greens to resemble the foliage of a forest in deep shade.

The plaque has been coated with 5 coats of non- yellowing varnish on the front to protect it for years to come. The back is protected as well.
