Heavily grained exotic wood hand-turned pocket game call or squawker

I do some wood turning from time to time. Several years ago I made these pocket-sized game calls to sell as greyhound "squawkers". They were put in a very safe place, and only resurfaced in my shop recently. So this is a vintage-new item!
Racing greyhounds are trained at the tracks to respond to the sound of a squawking lure. This training comes in very handy after the dogs are retired; if one gets loose, quite often they will come running to the sound of a squawker and can be recaptured. This game call is much easier to carry than the large flexible squawkers that are sold by some greyhound groups.
It has a cottontail call reed insert in it, so when blown into, it makes a sound like a cottontail rabbit in distress. It can, of course, be used for hunting coyotes or other predators, as well as attracting a loose greyhound. It is made of a very pretty, heavily grain patterned exotic wood, the name of which I cannot unfortunately remember for certain. The tag that was with it got lost somehow. It is either bubinga wood, or bocote wood. It comes with a satin rattail cord to hang it around your neck. But at approx. 5" long, it will fit nicely in most jacket pockets.
