Tiny stone fetish beads DESTASH ITEM

by featheredgems

Hey, don't blame me, I didn't come up with that name. I'm not sure why they're called fetish beads. They just are.

This is a small grouping of stone beads in various animal shapes. This is more of the interesting mix of stuff from the jewelry workshop of my late father. In the group are:
*An aventurine cat fetish bead, waving one paw in the air. It is accompanied by several aventurine round beads and chip beads. The cat is 3/4" or 19mm tall, and 9/16 or 15mm wide. It is drilled from top to bottom, and the cat and beads are threaded on green stringing thread.

*Two ducks made of a partly translucent brownish stone. They are most likely some kind of agate. They're drilled top to bottom through their backs. They're both approximately 3/4" or 19mm wide and 5/8" or 15mm tall.

*A turtle, made of a partly translucent honey-colored stone. It is also most likely made of agate, or perhaps carnelian. It's drilled top to bottom through the middle of the shell. Nose to tail it's 3/4" or 19mm long, and 3/8" or 10mm tall. NOTE--the pin shown under the turtle in one photo is only there to hold it up on its side. It is not part of the bead.

*An owl, made of the same brownish translucent stone as the ducks. It's drilled top-bottom through the top of the head. It's 5/8" or 15mm tall, and 7/16' or 10mm wide.

You could work these into any necklace, or make them into earrings, matched or otherwise.

I didn't make these, so no warranty applies.
