Absolutely fabulous and rare mid-century very hard to find vintage "Das Variabile" porcelain animals
designed by Peter Guggenbuhler for Altenkunstadt Porcelain -Altenkunstadt, Bavaria, (West) Germany Owl "Oile".
The Figurine is made of white porcelain with what appears to be faience glazes.This piece has a separate, detachable head .
These are some of the strangest, wackiest pieces of mid century modern pottery.
Very collectible and unique figurine.
