Journey to the Center: Journal, diary, bound in goathide and deerskin, with relief maze, copper leather rivets, lined pages
And here, my friends, is another Journey to the Center. It has a simple circular maze in the center of the covers, really just a symbol of the journey towards the center that a keeper of a journal might be making. The book is hardcover, using 3-ply mahogany plywood for the cover boards. It is full-bound in a nubbly brown goatskin, and a soft darker green deerskin. Beautiful decorative copper rivets also serve to reinforce the bond between the two leathers. The lined pages are stitched to the binding in the traditional way, using white 4-ply Irish linen thread, and archival Southworth white linen paper. This book is beautiful, but it is also made to last.
This book is a delight to look at, and to feel in your hands, and will be a delight to use. Leather being what it is, the book you get will look a bit different from the book pictured.
