I purchased this ribbon directly from India. It is fair trade, recycled from old saris or scraps in sari factories, The silk is meant to look rustic and shabby. If the loose threads bother you please gently cut them with scissors.
Some of the Silk ribbon is synthetic silk and some is actual silk.

Widths are approximately 1/2-2"
