My name is Vicki Schofield and I am the owner and designer of A Stitch and a Prayer, LOC Design Studio and Denim and Pearls. LOC Design Studio is a division of A Stitch and a Prayer, specializing in the design and creation of handcrafted beaded jewelry items.

Shipping details

You can trust that your order will be quickly processed and safely delivered. I ship worldwide using the United States Postal Service. All listings show First Class Postage charges. However, USPS Priority is an option. Please contact me before paying for your purchase to request an alternate shipping method. Overnight shipping can also be arranged via UPS.

Orders are shipped within 2-3 days of receiving payment. Custom orders will take longer.

For international orders, shipping fees including import, duty, tariff, VAT, or customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Refunds, returns & exchanges

Every attempt has been made to provide accurate descriptions and photographs of each item offered for sale. Even so, an item may not perfectly meet your expectations. If you are not delighted with your purchase, I will be happy to accommodate a return.

Please contact me within 5 days of receiving your purchase if a refund is in order. Refunds must be pre-approved by contacting me prior to returning the item. Items should be returned in their original condition within 10 days of receiving return authorization. You are responsible for return shipping charges. Upon receipt of the returned item, you will be credited for the purchase cost minus the original shipping charges.

Damaged and Broken Items
I work hard at making sure that crimps are secure and that all materials are defect free. I also carefully package items for shipment and mark them Fragile. However, if an item arrives damaged or if it breaks as the result of normal use within 6 months of delivery I will make repairs or provide a replacement item at my expense.

Please notify me within 5 days of receiving items that are damaged during shipment and return said items within 10 days of receiving repair or replacement confirmation from me.

LOC Design Studio jewelry is not waterproof or water resistant. Contact with water should be avoided. Water damaged items are not eligible for return, refund or exchange.

Custom Jewelry Return Policy
Custom jewelry pieces are returnable for repair or replacement only if they arrive damaged or if they break as the result of normal use within 6 months of delivery. See Custom Designs below for more details.

Additional information

Sales Tax
Sales tax will be collected for orders shipped within the state of Florida. Sales tax will be calculated based on the current sales tax rate for Walton County, Florida. Sales tax will be added during PayPal checkout.

CPSIA Disclaimer
LOC Design Studio items are not CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008) compliant and are not intended for children twelve years of age and younger.

Custom Designs
Custom designs are welcomed and encouraged! Contact me with a description of the custom piece you desire. I will respond as quickly as possible with a projected timeline and estimated cost.

After reaching agreement on the design, a deposit of 50% of the estimated cost will be required. Upon receipt of the deposit, I will create the item and then send you a photograph or scan for your final approval.

Your response, either approval or modification request, must be received within two (2) days. If the item is approved, final payment is due within one (1) day. Your custom piece will be shipped upon receipt of the final payment.

Depending on the extent of the modifications requested, additional time will be required. I will send a scan or photograph of the modified piece when the changes have been made. Your final approval must be received within two (2) days. Final payment is due within one (1) day of receiving your final approval.

The first modification request is included in the original cost. However, additional modifications will incur additional expense and will be discussed with you prior to the modifications being made.

Sales of custom designs are final!
