Vintage Carrigan Broken Porcelain China Bracelet
Beautiful vintage Carrigan Broken Porcelain China Bracelet
Made by the original broken china jewelry artists, Tim and Linda Carrigan.
This piece is unsigned, but purchased in a lot of Vintage Carrigan pieces.
White background with purple, pink and red flowers and green leaves.
Soldered silver edge with ball shaped embellishments.
The artists cut broken china into shapes, ground down the back edges to flatten the piece and soldered around the edges creating one of a kind brooches/pins, and pendants. Sometimes they were sent beloved/broken china to make into a remembrance brooch or pair of earrings.
The couple lived and created in Bandera, Texas.
Linda passed away in 2006.
Bracelet is 8 inches long, and adjustable from 7 to 8 inches. It is 7/8 inch wide.
The clasp opens and closes easily, and is a solid .925 sterling silver lobster claw clasp.
In very good condition with only light superficial scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear and age.
I have more pieces similar to this one from an estate.
