Vintage Signed Native American Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Ring

This is a gorgeous ring! It has a beautiful piece of Royston turquoise set in a smooth bezel with an oxidized twist around the bezel. Semi split shank. The main color of the stone is a medium turquoise with matrix ranging from a golden yellow to brown. The ring is in excellent condition with a light patina. The ring is 1 3/8 inches long. It weighs in at just over 8 grams. It is a size 7 3/4. Signed J. and STERLING.

Royston turquoise is known for producing turquoise of bold color variations, ranging from beautiful soft blue to emerald greens. They can also come with a wide variety of matrix, such as golden brown, black, white, and more.

The Royston Turquoise Mine is located in the Royston mining district near Tonapah, Nevada. The mine is owned and operated by the Otteson family and is still in operation today.

Very light superficial scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear and age.
