Rock-a-Block by Crafters' Companion

by PaperAndStones

The Rock-a-Block is designed to work using a combintion of the rocking action and depth gauge (the runners on the top and bottom of the stamper) to give even pressure to the application of ink so there is no bleed.

To use, simply adhere your clear acrylic or unmounted rubber stamp to the Rock-a-Block (acrylic stamps are usually already sticky, unmounted stamps will need a separate application of adhesive). Ink your stamp with lots of light tapping, until the whole raised area of the rubber is covered in a layer of ink. Be careful not to get ink on the raised siderails of the blocks (the runners). Place the mounted stamp down onto the stamping surface resting on the bottom edge of the block and then rock the block forwards and lift up from the paper. Note: only rock once, repeated rocking will cause shadow images to appear.

The Rock-a-Block in the 4 piece set measures: 6 inches x 4 inches, 6 inches x 1 1/4 inches, 4 inches x 3 inches, and 1 1/2 inches x 1 inch.

The adhesive recommended is the Stick and Spray by Crafters' Companion. You can, however, use any spray adhesive designed for die-cutting, such as the sprays sold for the Slice, eClips, and Pazzles.

For unmounted stamps (stamps of rubber only without cling such as the original JustRite stamps that required specific blocks with ridges) apply Tack and Peel to the acrylic block, apply stamp and ink. Tack and Peel will remain on your acrylic block for 20 to 30 uses without losing its stickiness.

These stamp blocks will be sent by Priority Mail.
