When I have a long day and want to unwind, my Art Journal is the perfect solution! I have been having so much fun with these printable Art Journals and wanted to share them with you. Art Journal printables are perfect for both new and seasoned crafters. All the elements that you need are in this printable. No need to go purchase new expensive craft supplies!
However, if you have plenty of art supplies on hand, you can use them all to occupy white space and personalize your Art Journal.
These super cute bullet journal/ fauxbonichi-inspired art journal layouts are full of crafty surprises! A traveler's notebook-inspired Art Journal spread that comes with adorable images that form the focal point of the book. The intricate banners on top of each page are so fun to color and help unify the pages.
Use your favorite Jane Davenport watercolor, Dew Drop Memento Ink, Liquid Pearls, Gelato, Recollections bold brush markers, Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen, Uni-ball Pen, washi tape, texture paste, or acrylic paint to further personalize your Art Journal layouts.
If you want to add more stamp images to fill in the negative space, you certainly can do that. If you want to remove some of the images on the background or make them less noticeable, simply apply gesso over them. The digital stamps make for a fun embellishment, and if you have trouble drawing, they are the perfect solution! You can also use your Uni-ball pen around each image to give them a cartoonish appearance.
Don't be afraid to experiment with 3D embellishments, tip-ins, small ephemeras, ( ephemerae) or clear stamps to further personalize the background. Don't want to get dirty with ink or paint? No problem, simply use stickle over the stamp imprinted images to give them a 3D look.
Not sure what supplies you should use? Here’s a list of helpful items: Gelatos, watercolor, your favorite ink to color the background/negative space. Have fun using texture paste, 3D embellishments, gel pens, collage materials, ephemera, and mixed media supplies to add texture and dimension to your art journal/ planner layout spread.
