Delineator Fashions 1917 Edwardian Antique Poster Size Couture Lithograph

by PetitPoulailler

The very hautest in 1917 haute couture is featured on this gorgeous, bright 2-sided lithograph from The Delineator for March 1917. (Before Butterick Patterns was 'Butterick', it was 'The Delineator'.)

The poster-size lithograph measures 11" x 16" (28x41 cm) and the illustrations are scrumptious!

Presented in the style of Godey Ladies' Book, the lithographs are bright and clear and wonderful - nearly 100 years later. The paper is smooth and clean and without folds, creases, or tears.

*Please note the last photograph - there are slight pencil marks along the dog's leg and lightly penciled curlicues at the ladies toes. I'll leave this to you and your framer to erase or disguise.

All pattern #'s are here for your reference and I'm sure that, with a quick search, you may find patterns online - this is a wonderful World War I era pattern-shopping time machine.

Either paper side will be a fantastic subject for framing - for dressing room or bath, sewing studio or bedroom. And the images are perfect for card and tag creations, scrap-book page making, collage.

You are purchasing an original 1917 paper and it does not have a watermark. I will send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
