Here is our second look at two young fishermen. Capturing childhood's sweetest memories - Their day is sunny and warm, no school [maybe!], and in this photographic lithograph the two buddies have just arrived at that best secret fishin' hole they love. And I can just bet there's cold fried chicken and pie in that basket,

... and now I want to go fishing, too!

Can a kid's life get any better than this?! A wonderful scene captured in a beautiful 1927 rotogravure by H. Armstrong Roberts. In crisp black and white, the photograph shows two kids at the fishing hole, already fishing, straw hat on and the little one supervising everything - precious!

Photographer and entrepreneur, H. Armstrong Roberts, was the patriarch of three generations of the Roberts family photography legacy. A very talented photographer, Roberts will probably be best remembered for creating one of the first, and still very active, stock photo agencies - RobertStock.com
