France's Second Empire Coat Couture 1925 Antique Paul Louis de Giafferri Fashion Pochoir Print, Pl 3

by PetitPoulailler

Here is a stunning French pochoir print from Paul Louis de Giafferri's 1925 magnificent folio work - 'History of Feminine Costume from 1037 - 1870' featuring formal coats and cloaks from the court of Napoleon Bonaparte's Second Empire, 1852-1870.

Hand-painted on a heavy card and blank on its reverse, this print is scrumptious. Featured are nine hand-colored vignettes of "Manteaux" [Cloaks and Coats].

Measuring 10.75" x 14.625" (27x37 cm), the paper shows a gentle edge tanning. With bright and lovely colors, the papers are clean and smooth, the engraving is strong and bold, and the paper has a French text key at the paper's bottom. There are no tears, folds, creases, or marks.

A gorgeous fashion plate to frame, a wonderful addition to your paper supplies to use in your art. Wonderful for card and tag creations, collage, scrap-book page making.

You are purchasing an original 1925 paper and it does not have watermarks. I will send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
