Hupa Indian Family 1931 Antique Smithsonian Cultural History Lithograph

by PetitPoulailler

Gleaned from a 1931 Smithsonian Institute publication on 'North American Indians', here is a majestic portrait of a Sioux Indian warrior in full ceremonial dress, taken from the Smithsonian collection.

The captioning reads -

"Family group of the Hupa Indians of California in the National Museum"

The heavy paper is blank on its reverse and measures 5.625" x 8.375" (14.3x21.3 cm). The paper is a naturally off-white and shows a beautiful even all-over tanning. The paper is clean smooth, the lithography is bold and clear and the colors are bright and vivid. There are no tears, creases, folds or marks on the paper.

A unique image to frame for your home decor or perhaps you'll use this in your art - perfect for tag and card creations, scrap-book page making, collage, decoupage.

You are purchasing an original 1931 paper and it does not have watermarks. I will send this to you flat, protected and by USPS 1st Class mail.
