Three Jovial Huntsmen 1907 Edwardian Randolph Caldecott Antique Storybook Pochoir Print

by PetitPoulailler

Here is a wonderfully fun, bright pochoir print from Randolph Caldecott's 1907 'Picture Book, No. 2', featuring 'The Three Jovial Huntsmen'. The beautiful pochoir print is initialed, 'RC' for Randolph Caldecott and is not captioned.

What a delightful image to frame for the new baby's or new young reader's room ... or perhaps you'll want this for your art - it will be ideal for tag and card creations, scrap-book page making, collage. The heavy paper measures 7.75" x 8.875" (20x23 cm), shows light tanning along the edges, and is smooth and clean, with sharp corners. There are no tears, folds, creases, or marks.

You are purchasing an original 1907 paper and it does not have watermarks. I will send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class Mail.

The Three Jovial Huntsmen

One said it was a boggart, an'
another he say "Nay;
It's just a ge'man-farmer, that has
gone an' lost his way"

One said it was a bull-calf,an'
another he said "Nay;
It's just a painted jackass, that has
never learnt to bray."

So they hunted, an' they hollo'd, till the
setting of the sun;
An' they'd nought to bring away at last,
when th' huntin'-day was done.
