Wolf Pendant Necklace, Cedar Pendant, Cherokee Language, Tsalagi Jewelry, Tribal Jewelry, Native Style, Seed Bead Necklace, Corn Bead
Handcrafted with hand cut cedar wood and pyrographed with the finely detailed image of the wolf and "tsa-la-gi" written in Cherokee language, this 50mm (2") cedar pendant inspires the warrior spirit of the wolf. The silverplated copper bail is suspended on a 24" traditional Cherokee corn bead necklace and closes with a silverplated lobster clasp. The cedar wood pendant is accented with oil pencils and sealed to protect the carving. Corn beads are said to have sprouted from the tears of the Cherokee as they walked along the Trail of Tears. They are actually a seed that grows on a grass-like plant and also known as Selu beads or Job's tears. This native style, cedar wood pendant necklace is suitable for both men and women.
