Baby Girl Lace Dress with Slip Pattern Printable: 9-12 Months
The lace dress in this pattern offers a variety design color options, two sizes of Mary Janes, and a ready-to-print slip pattern with matching crochet trim.
Garments are sized for a 9-12 month infant, but they will also fit some younger and older babies. Intermediate crochet skills required.
The dress and Mary Janes are made with #3 crochet thread (Aunt Lydia’s in the photos), 500-750 yards depending on option choices, and a size 1 steel crochet hook. Slip trim is made with #10 crochet thread. The printable slip pattern requires ½ yard of material.
The lace dress works up quickly. Make it with sleeves or sleeveless; one color or two. Make it longer for a christening gown. Follow the sample color-change patterns or design your own.
Two sizes of Mary Janes, one with a 4” sole and another with a 4 ½ ”, are included to accommodate growing baby feet.
The slip pattern is ready to print without measuring and redrawing. Sewing is limited to exactly 4 seams and a few stitch lines—no special sewing skills required. It’s the added crochet, not the sewing, that makes the garment pop.
