Drop spindle - Padauk and walnut

Hand-crafted drop spindle. The whorl is padauk and the dowel is walnut. Measures approximately 7 1/4" long. The whorl is approximately 2 3/4" diameter. Weighs .61 oz., 17.2 g.
The whorl has not yet been notched. Please leave a comment if you'd like me to add a notch before I ship it.
A note on all of my spindles: on occasion, the glue holding the whorl or hook will loosen. A drop or two of superglue will resecure these parts if this happens.
