Hand carved shallow coffee scoop out of Douglas fir

This scoop was hand carved then sanded till it is silky smooth. Its clean lines and softened edges make it a joy in the hands and to the eyes. While perfect for coffee this scoop can hold anything. Holds one tablespoon.

Douglas Fir is one of the hardest and heaviest soft woods available in North America. Douglas Fir has a straight grain with abrupt transitions between the pale summer and dark winter grains.

Finished with Linseed oil and Beeswax for a food-safe, water-resistant, and durable finish.

This scoop is 4.5 inches long overall the bowl is 2 inches long and 2 inches wide. The handle is 2.5 inches long and tapers to 1/2 an inch.

Due to these being made from natural materials the grain patterns will vary making each completely unique.
