Vintage 1940s Framed Silk Print House Blessing Poem

by ZiLvintagePhoto

A 1940s House Blessing poem printed on silk. Nice vintage condition with normal age-related wear. Rich gold coloring and wonderful detail on the narrow border. The gold coloring is consistent despite the shadowing at the top of the first photo. Also, please ignore the reflections or light distortion on the silk (was difficult to photo). Silk print alone is smooth and in excellent condition with no water damage or similar discoloration. The brown velvet backing does show its age but still remains very sturdy. Overall frame measures approximately 8 1/4 inches by 10 1/4 inches. Unpackaged weight is a little over 1 pound.

Specifically Concerning Photo Frames:

Please note that the images you see in frame listings (unless otherwise specified) are low-resolution reproductions of vintage portraits from a personal collection. They have no actual value per listing. Their sole purpose is simply to fill the frame space. Also, be aware that it is not uncommon for the glass in vintage metal frames to have chipped corners or flea bites along edges. Rest assured that this in no way affects any visual presentation, as these age-related imperfections are well hidden behind frame borders. Keep in mind too that antique glass may have waves, seeds, or tiny etch marks due to manufacturing processes of the time.
